Feeling Cooped Up

Here are the girls riding Pooh bear at their cousins house.

It's hard to get them off these ponies. It's like they are racing...

This was the first time the girls had touched a balloon at our friend Morgan's baby shower. They had so much fun!

Here are the girls on their ponies. Thanks Nicole!

Alexandra had to try on the froggy hat. You can't just have one ridiculous looking child. Look, she's praying...God, please help my momma...

I'm sure you are wondering why is Samantha dressed like a frog...Well, I'm having a hard time keeping up with the laundry and you would think with all the clothes that the girls have this would not be a problem, well it is...we ran out of pajamas so I looked in the closet to see what might work for pajamas and I found this little frog costume so we put it on and I was laughing so hard tears were streaming down my face...yes, real tears...lol!! She looked ridiculous, but soo cute still! I'm sure she will hate me for this photo, but I couldn't resist.

This is a video of the girls on their ponies :~)

Winter Carnival and Teething!

Our sweet angels after their baths.

Winter Carnival, McCall, ID

Poor girls were cold, but happy!

Where have we been? Well, I have a bunch of photos to post, but just haven't had the time. We went to McCall a couple weeks ago for winter carnival. The girls did pretty good for it being so cold and being crammed into their little size 9 month snowsuits. They barely fit, but I didn't want to buy new snowsuits for one day.
Lexxy is getting 3 teeth at once so the past few days/nights have been a little rough on all of us. I'm sure she will get those in and then Sammy will start...When will the teething end??
The girls still haven't taken their first step, but are so close! They both pull theirselves up to their feet and will stand for quite a while without holding on to anything. I want them to walk, but I don't!! What happened to our little babies??!! They are now little people who are constantly under our feet, constantly tugging on us, constantly wanting attention. I just love them!!
The girls are pretty much eating whatever we are eating and they just love table food! It's fun to give them new things and see what they like. So far, they like everything!! The especially love veggies....
They are also talking some...they say dada and mama (still not sure if they know who is who), Sammy says kitty cat sometimes, dye dye (for bye bye), num nums and they both will occasionally say "hi."
Well, I will try to update this post with photos tonight or tomorrow night. We have some great ones from McCall Winter Carnival.

Also, I entered the girls in this twins contest. The link is: http://www.twin-pregnancy-and-beyond.com/two-little-angels.html

Winter Days

Our little jailbirds...We had to finally put a gate up because Sammy kept wanting to climb the stairs...they don't look too upset about the gate though...

Lexxy posed for me a little today, but Sammy didn't want anything to do with it...Since she can stand now, that's all she wants to do...

Here's Lexxy's little tooth. I can't get any pictures that show it so I pulled her lip down and snapped a photo....mean momma...

Here's Sammy, this is what she does all the time now... She'll be walking before we know it...

Lexxy makes the funniest faces sometimes!!

Sammy was always trying to take the hats off, but before she could, I would try and get a picture...

Does it get any cuter than this?

I thought we would go through their clothes and see what doesn't fit. I came across these hats and so we tried them on. I was laughing so hard I was crying... LOL!!! Stinkin' cute!!

Lexxy...

Sammy in the laundry basket...

Having fun in the laundry basket...

Look, Sammy has a tooth!

Look, we can feed ourselves now! What big girls!

Girls, what are you up to??

Lexxy...

Sammy trying to put her hat on...Everything goes on her head lately unless we put it on and then it comes off immediately...

Lexxy blowing razzberries...not a pretty face...

Lexxy making her monkey face...

Sweet Sammy...

New Photos!

Look at those eyes! ~Lexxy Girl~

~Sammy Girl~

I am so proud to be a part of this family. You wouldn't know it, but the day we had these photos taken was by far the girls' crankiest day ever!! You sure wouldn't know it by looking at these photos though. They really hated the feathers. We put them through torture, but it was worth it! What sweet babies!!

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bank balance smaller, home happier, clothes dirty, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

Lexxy has a Tooth!

The girls are changing every day. It's amazing how they are little people now and not just babies. They crawl around and can get into something the minute you turn your head, they are starting to eat what we eat and drink out of sippy cups. Lexxy got her first tooth yesterday!! I think Sammy is working on her next one. They make us laugh every day!! Yesterday Lexxy was beating her hands on the plugins (which are filled with the plastic safety things) and Sammy was beside her pointing her finger at her and jabbering loudly at her like she was telling her that she shouldn't be doing that. It was too funny!! And they just love our cat, Tommy Boy. Here they are playing with him...Luckily he has been gentle with them so far...He's not the nicest kitty...

I can't even remember what our lives were like before the girls were born. We must have been so bored! Our days are now filled with so many smiles, laughter, playing, feeding, picking up toys, diaper changes and household chores. I actually read my book last night before bed (the first time in over 9 months). We're both (Kevin and I) trying to work more of our hobbies and things that we like to do back into our schedules. Kevin has been snowmobiling 4 or 5 times and I have a few multiples group events and Bunco parties this month. I'm hoping to meet one of my friends for drinks after work on Friday. So, slowly we are starting to get back into some kind of normalcy (is that a word?).
